MEDITATION TEACHER TRAINING UPGRADE PROGRAM
You will enjoy this wonderfully rigorous training, rich in the development of your inner experiences, as you prepare to teach meditation at a whole new level! The MTT Upgrade Program offers a number of more powerful teachings and will enable you to teach the updated “Mantra Syllabus” to your students. Your course consists of 6 telephone conference call class meetings (with homework in-between) plus a three-day training at Temenos Retreat Center in West Chester, PA with Swami Nirmalananda. While the MTT Upgrade Program continues to be a training to teach a 3-week meditation course, not a training to lead a regular meditation group, its new format provides much deeper meditations to your students. Once you’ve successfully completed your Upgrade, you will receive an Ashram Meditation Teacher certificate for the new “Mantra Syllabus,” and you’ll be in Current Standing with your Continuing Education. This certificate remains valid for two years from your training.
As an Ashram-certified teacher offering the “Mantra Syllabus,” you’ll also have full access to the Ashram’s support program, including Swamiji’s recorded talks, with teachings on mantra and tantra as well as 8 or 9 other teaching talks specifically for Meditation Teachers. These recordings are treasures of information and inspiration, never before available!
Like any professional training, attendance is required for every part of the course. This means that every phone call is required. The calls will not be recorded, and there are no make-up calls. This training will be offered twice (and only twice), with one set of dates beginning in 2011 (course is under way), and once set of dates beginning in 2012.

Call #1: Wednesday, May 30th, 2012 , 6:30 - 9:00 pm (EST)
Call #2; Thursday, June 14th, 2012, 6:30 - 9:00 pm (EST)
Call #3 : Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 , 6:30 - 9:00 pm (EST)
Call #4 : Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012, 6:30 - 9:00 pm (EST)
Call #5: Wednesday, September 12th, 2012, 6:30 - 9:00 pm (EST)
Call #6: Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012, 6:30 - 9:00 pm (EST)
Weekend: Thursday, October 11th, 2012 (evening start) through Sunday, October 14th, 2012 (ending at dinner).
If you are not able to do the Upgrade Program, you may simply retake the Meditation Teacher Training when it is offered in 2013, which will give you the deeper teachings and the “Mantra Syllabus,” from which you may teach your students.
Prerequisites:
The Upgrade is available to Meditation Teachers who are listed on the Ashram Teacher Directory.
Enrollment Fee:
Tuition: $875 for your tuition, including your 6 conference calls as well as your 3-day on-site training
Housing & Meals: $435 for your 3 nights of housing and your meals beginning with dinner your first evening and ending with dinner on your last evening
Total Enrollment Fee: $1,310 (prepaid at the time of enrollment) or you may enroll in a payment plan with an initial deposit of $96 and 14 automatic monthly payments of $96 (on your credit card or directly from your bank account)

*Please be assured that the Upgrade program is not required of you. You are already trained and certified, and you teach a wonderful course to your students. This new training in no way invalidates your previous training or your certificate. But the depth of the new training and the continuing support of the Ashram is something Swamiji wants to make available to you.
