Indulge yourself in the full range of Svaroopa® yoga practices, from poses and breathing through chanting, meditation and sutras. Swami Nirmalananda teams with Australian teachers to lead you through five days of ever deepening practice, all for the purpose of you experiencing svaroopa, your own divine essence. The day’s rhythms are built on the Ashram’s daily routine, beginning with chanting and meditation, with a delicious Svaroopa® yoga asana class every morning. In the afternoons, Swami Nirmalananda makes the teachings of the ancient sages meaningful and relevant to your life and today’s world. Everything in the retreat is for the purpose of expanding your inner experience, that you may know your own Self, yet all the practices combine to provide you all three of Svaroopa® yoga’s promises: healing, transformation and illumination.

Our retreat is at Sine Cera Rainforest Retreat, a beautiful retreat center in the rain forest June 27th-July 1st. Your healthy, delicious, vegetarian meals are included. Swami Nirmalananda will be available for informal times as well as when she is teaching, and you will have a private meeting with her on one of the afternoons. You may use this time to ask questions, share about your life, or address what is most important to you. She’s delighted to get to know you better as well as to serve you in this personal way.

Co-hosted by Janaki Murray and Priti Kotecha, this is a Svaroopa® Vidya Ashram retreat, the first one ever to be held in Australia. Yet Swamiji is returning to Brisbane, having taught here many times for Master Yoga Foundation, another organization that she founded and still represents. As an Ashram retreat, the focus is on your meditative experience, with all the other practices being used as the ancient sages intended, to help you dive deeper into the divine reality within. The cornucopia of yoga delights culminates in meditation at the end of every session, morning, afternoon and evening. If you are new to meditation, Swamiji will make it easy, and you will go from being a beginning to an experienced meditator in just five days. You’ll find that the Ashram’s many free online services and conference-call programs make it easy for you to follow up, or to take your first dip into these cosmic waters. Come to our retreat to experience the divine reality within you, which is you, and learn how to take it home with you.



Basic Schedule:
   6:30-8 am chanting & meditation (Guru Gita) with Swamiji
   8-9:30 am breakfast & break
   9:30-11 am asana class with Australian teacher
   11 am-noon chant & meditation with Swamiji
   Noon-2:30 pm lunch & break
   2:30-5:30 pm sutras, discussion, chant & meditation with Swamiji
   6:00-7:30 pm dinner & break
   7:30-8:30 pm chant & meditation with Swamiji
